Something to be Thankful for on Thanksgiving

The second day of harvesting went well.  The collected an additional 10MM stem cells, which is more than enough for the stem cell rescue procedure.  Nick is scheduled to have the central line removed today and if all goes well, he could be home as early as this evening, or tomorrow morning at the latest!

We are all looking forward to a few days of rest and relaxation at home.  Aside from some therapy that Nick will have to do, we should be done with procedures until December 2nd.  That starts the radiation therapy treatments.

So for the next few days, we will all be together again as a family, and try to forget about the past few weeks and just enjoy our time together.
